So many gins, so many tonics

A nice simple dry gin over some ice with a standard tonic and a slice of lemon makes for a really nice drink, but there are so many different gins and different tonics how do you know what works.

To save you some time and hopefully some expense we've put together a list of gins and mixers we've tried and think work well, but of course it is dependant on your pallet and you may find some different combinations work better for you.
